Our Policy

Required Lesson Frequency:

All new swimmers — children and adults — are required to attend lessons at least 2 times per week. Students are welcome to schedule additional classes for a more intensive approach.

Lesson Policies:

Lessons and packages are non-transferable and must be used within 1 year of purchase.

Late Arrivals:

Lessons will end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival. If a coach is running late, lesson time will be adjusted accordingly.

Rescheduling, Cancellations & Refunds

We do not offer refunds. Lessons canceled within 12 hours of the scheduled class time will be forfeited.

Weather Policy

Lessons continue in light rain. Classes will be canceled and rescheduled in the event of thunder, lightning, or unsafe pool visibility.

Health & Safety

Please do not bring swimmers to class if they are sick, congested, coughing, or showing signs of illness. Swimmers who arrive visibly ill may not be permitted to participate.

Parent Observation

Parents are asked to remain in the designated waiting area during their child’s lessons unless otherwise instructed. Parents are welcome to observe the last 5 minutes of class. For in-home lessons, we kindly ask parents to observe from inside the home to help minimize distractions.

Swim Attire

Proper swim attire is required for all swimmers. Children who are not fully potty-trained must wear a disposable swim diaper underneath a reusable swim diaper.

Swim Caps & Goggles

Swimmers with hair longer than chin length should wear a swim cap or have hair secured back. Goggles are recommended unless otherwise instructed by the coach. We do not provide loaner goggles.

Travel Lessons

Travel fees apply for all in-home lessons and vary by location. For travel lessons, the pool must be properly heated, clean, and maintained prior to class. It is the pool owner’s responsibility to ensure the pool is safe and comfortable for swimming.

We recommend pool temperatures between 85°–88°F during chilly, cloudy, or cooler weather. If outdoor temperatures are below 60°F, the pool should be heated to approximately 90°F. If the pool is not maintained to these standards at the time of class, the lesson will be forfeited.

Personal Items

Please bring your own towel and swim gear to each lesson.

Photo & Video Recording

Raynboe Swan is a media-driven company where photos and videos are regularly captured during lessons for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media platforms, and other company materials.

Families who do not wish for their swimmer to be identifiable in published content may request that their swimmer’s face be blurred in any photos or videos we share.

By enrolling in our program, you acknowledge that recording may occur during lessons. If you are not comfortable with your swimmer being recorded — even with the facial blurring option available — our program may not be the best fit for your family, and we respect that.
