We are halfway through an 18-lesson private swim package with Klarc, and the results have exceeded our expectations.

Our daughter started lessons at 25 months old with no prior swim instruction. She was comfortable around water and not fearful, but she was not putting her face in the water, could not float with assistance, and had no survival swimming skills. Our primary goals were water safety, confidence, and basic self-rescue skills.

By lesson 8, she passed her safety test. She was able to be pushed off the side or tossed into the pool by both the instructor and a parent, independently roll onto her back, and maintain a float for at least 10 seconds without panicking, swallowing water, or going back under. We honestly hoped she might reach this level by the end of the entire package, not halfway through it.

What has impressed us most is Klarc’s ability to work with toddlers. She is professional, prompt, confident, calm, and clearly very experienced. She seems to have an excellent read on young children and knows exactly when to encourage, reassure, and challenge them.

Our daughter cried far less than we expected. There was intermittent crying during only two lessons, typically when a new skill was introduced. Klarc handled those moments with calm reassurance and confident leadership, and our daughter responded extremely well. The trust she has built is obvious—even after lessons that included some tears, our daughter would ask to see Klarc again.

The progress in just four weeks has been remarkable. Our daughter has gained meaningful water safety skills, increased confidence, and a level of independence in the water that we never expected this quickly. Coach Klarc is AMAZING, and we highly recommend her to any parents looking for swim lessons.

Our son began around his second birthday, with no prior swim experience. We’ve now been through about 12 lessons and doesn’t cry (happened a lot in the beginning), floats on his own (even when dropped in), and is starting to practice pulling himself out of the pool.

We did other 30 minutes classes (group classes) for months, and never saw the same level of progress that we did with Raynboe. We started our first 12 class package, and my son has learned so much! In two months, he learned more than he did in a whole summer. Even when we did the YMCA 2 week intense class, we never saw this level of improvement.

He can now jump to the pool, swim to the side and pull himself out (he is only 3.5 years old). He feels very comfortable in the water and I know that he will be safe should he ever fall in a pool.

My kid loved going there! I only saw him cry a bit once, when he was trying to kick while floating (apparently you are not supposed to do that or you’ll have trouble staying afloat) and the teacher was very reassuring and calm. They kept trying the same exercises a few more times until it worked, and my son was so proud of himself.

Klarc is the 3rd swim instructor I have taken my daughter to and she is by far the best. My daughter was 2.5 when she started with Klarc, by the second lesson she was floating on her back (something she could not do with her previous instructors). She cried at times (which is totally normal)  but Klarc coached her through her tears and now she is 3 years old, swimming across the pool, going down the big slide on her own and she is able to get out of the pool safely. I highly recommend Coach Klarc! My Daughter is 3 and by the second lesson she was floating on her own! She can now float, swim across the pool, and pull herself out on the side of the pool. We started lessons with Coach Klarc for our 4-year-old twins, who had never been in formal swim classes before. They were nervous at first, but Klarc handled it with calm, patience and a really thoughtful approach. She helped them work through their fear in the beginning and guided them through the ups and downs of learning new skills. What impressed my husband and me most was how quickly they progressed. Within just a few lessons, they were actually swimming! Klarc clearly knows what she’s doing, and I trusted her process from day one. She supported each of them at their own pace, and now we’re swimming full length of the pool, diving for rings in the deep end and swimming on our backs confidently. We’ve had such an amazing experience with Raynboe Swan! My son is almost 3 years old and started with absolutely no swim experience. When we began, he was terrified of the water (I couldn’t even get water on his head without him crying). For the first few lessons, there were LOTS of tears - I started to feel discouraged and doubtful that we would make progress. But Coach Klarc was patient, encouraging, and gave us helpful tips to practice outside of lessons.

Now, after 15 out of our 18 classes, my son is actually excited for his swim day. He smiles through lessons, is happy and confident in the water, and has even passed his safety test. He can swim both short and long distances and is learning new skills each week. He was so proud to show off everything he’s learned when we went to a friend’s swim party, it was such a joy to watch. I never thought we would get here - the transformation has been incredible!

If your child is fearful of water like mine was, my advice is to trust the process, trust the amazing swim instructors at Raynboe Swan, and stay consistent. It’s worth every moment to see your child gain both skill and confidence. I plan to start my 5 month old with lessons here as soon as he is old enough. We found Rayboe Swan through instagram and have been so happy!! Coach Klarc and Coach Marce have been great with our 3 girls ages 3,2 and 1 with no prior swim lessons. All 3 girls have passed their safety check and we feel so much more comfortable taking them to a pool. The girls are starting to learn strokes and turns. It’s really amazing to watch their progress. Coach Clark is practically an enchanted fairy who works miracles.

My son is 4 and a half years old and is currently on his 7th lesson of an 18-lesson package. Before Coach Clark, he took swim classes at a local swim school but never made much progress. I even tried a private lesson elsewhere, and it was a complete disaster.

After just the first lesson with Coach Clark, he was already so comfortable in the pool that he begged not to wear floaties. Now, after just 7 lessons, he no longer uses floaties and swims confidently across the pool from one side to the other. It’s almost unbelievable!

Now she’s starting to work with him on actual swim techniques.
I couldn’t be happier, and I’ve already recommended Coach Clark to three families — who are now also taking lessons with her and loving it.

Our 4 year old daughter had no prior swim experience or training, after 17 sessions with Coach Klarc she was jumping in and swimming the full length of the pool by herself multiple times.  We couldn’t be more pleased with her progress!
